Philips India announced a partnership with BGMI E-Sports, as well as the signing of its BGMI E-Sports squad, dubbed ‘OneBlade’. This collaboration is a strategic step forward in Philips’ push into the gaming sector, reinforcing the company’s commitment to addressing the GenZ audience.

Philips India Announces Its BGMI Roster, Titled OneBlade After Signing Former R Esports Lineup
The return of Battlegrounds Mobile India after a 10-month-long suspension has rejoiced its fans. Tournament organizers and developers have been conducting multiple events. Some TOs had to postpone their IPs because of the heavily tight schedule and the game’s restriction of 6 hours of playtime. With such numerous tournaments, esports organizations are announcing their rosters back into the game.
R Esports will represent Philips team OneBlade brand during their participation in BGMI tournaments featuring the brand’s logo and carrying the tagline, ‘Move Fearlessly.’ The phrase symbolises the team’s playstyle in the competitive BGMI E-Sports events and Philips OneBlade’s commitment to providing a No Nicks, No Cuts grooming experience.

Philips OneBlade’s entry into the gaming market comes on the heels of its successful partnership as the styling partner for the NODWIN Valorant Challengers: South Asia Split 2 tournament.
Team ‘OneBlade’ is comprised of skilled players from the R Esports team, which frequently places among the top 16 teams in BGMI across major competitions, and is ready to make a lasting mark in the gaming world. The team has extensive experience competing against India’s greatest teams in a variety of tournaments, and it has also reached the finals of the BGIS 2021 and BGMI Showdown 2022.
From 1 July through 1 October 2023, the squad will compete under the Philips OneBlade brand, competing in prestigious BGMI tournaments. The team had finished bottom of the standings due to a series of errors in several tournaments although they made it to the finals. With the new signing, we wish the team all the best for upcoming events.
