Philips, a popular electronics maker, has launched a new smartphone dubbed – Philips PH1 in the Chinese market. The entry-level PH1 offers a large display and a quad-core processor. The handset comes with a dual rear camera setup and a large battery. The Philips PH1 comes with a quite affordable price tag and is available in attractive colors. Philips PH1 Price

The Philips PH1 comes in three memory-storage configurations – 4GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB. The base variant of the device is priced at RMB 499 (approx Rs. 5,910). Where as, the 64GB storage variant costs RMB 569 (approx Rs. 6,740) and the top end variant with 128GB storage costs RMB 769 (approx Rs. 9,110).

Philips PH1 Specifications and Features

The Philips handset flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 720 x 1600 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It also features a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the device packs a quad-core UniSoC Tiger T310 mobile processor that is built on a 12nm fabrication process. It comes coupled with PowerVR GT7200 GPU that takes care of graphics-related tasks. The handset comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It boots Google’s mobile operating system – Android.

Moving on to the cameras, the device features a dual rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 13MP shooter which gets coupled with a 3MP sensor. For selfies and video calls, the PH1 offers a 5MP front shooter.

The Philips PH1 is equipped with a 4700mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging port. It doesn’t support fast charging and also lacks a fingerprint scanner. Though, it offers a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It measures 165.5 x 76.5 x 9.5mm and weighs about 194grams.
