Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro India Launch Confirmed, to Be Available Via Flipkart

Google has confirmed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Pixel phones. The 7 series will feature the new Google Tensor G2 chip. Google claims that with the new SoC, the Pixel phones will bring even more helpful, personalised features to photos, videos, security and speech recognition.

In addition to this, the company previously revealed the design of the 2022 Pixel flagship smartphones. Both phones have a horizontal visor at the top portion of the rear panel for the camera sensors. The Pixel 7 has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. The Pro model, on the other hand, sports a triple-camera setup. Both phones are said to feature a 50MP main camera along with a 12MP ultrawide camera along with a 48MP telephoto camera on the Pro model.

The 7 Pro is likely to sport a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display, whereas the standard model is likely to feature a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED display. The Pro model will sport a curved screen with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The upcoming Pixels are also likely to pack up to 5000mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. Lastly, the new Pixel phones will run Android 13 out of the box. We will share more details once available.
