Pixel Buds A-series price and specs
The Buds A-series will go on sale in the US and Canada on June 17 for $99 (roughly Rs 7,300). To keep the cost low and make it more affordable, Google has ditched some features from the A-series Buds that are found on the regular Pixel Buds. These include no wireless charging support or swipe controls for controlling the volume levels.
While the A-series Buds do not get the two mentioned features, Google says that there is no compromise on the sound quality. The Buds A-series are claimed to offer the same sound quality as the more premium Pixel Buds. Each earbud comes with a 12mm custom dyanmic driver that is claimed to deliver clear, natural sound. Google has also trickled down the Adaptive sound feature on the Buds A-series. The feature increases or decreases the sound based on the ambient noise. It also comes with beamforming mics to focus on your voice and reduce outside noise.
Like almost all Google products, the Buds A-series comes with Google Assistant support. By simply saying “Hey Google”, you can ask the Buds A-series to perform a bunch of tasks like adjusting the volume, changing the song, etc. The Buds are claimed to deliver up to five hours of battery life on a single charge. The case offers another 19 hours of charge. Google’s earbuds support quick charging as well. It comes with IPX4 tasting for sweat and splash resistance.
