PlayStation has just released their Top Downloads for the PlayStation Store in March 2022 and the list looks awfully similar to April’s with Elden Ring leading the charts in US and EU for the second time in a row. FromSoftware’s magnum opus has not only become one of the most critically-acclaimed titles of the last 10 years but also perhaps one of the most financially successful titles in the studio’s history.
Another familiar sight back in the charts is Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V, which shot back up the charts on the back of its next-gen release. The game finds itself in the Top 5 again in both US/Canada and the EU. Although the game has seen a re-release in 2022, GTA V has consistently been a Top 10 best-selling game for the better part of its run since 2013.
Elden Ring, GTA V, and Gran Turismo 6 Dominate PlayStation Store PS5 Charts in March
While Elden Ring was the most downloaded game from the PlayStation Store in US/Canada, the top spot belongs to Gran Turismo 7 in the EU. Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo franchise is perhaps one of the most influential racing game franchises in the history of games and its latest installation seems to be doing well so far.

The game ran into a bit of a controversy, mostly to do with its incessant microtransactions, which took away a lot of the game’s initial shine.
WWE 2K22 also makes an appearance in the Top 5 in both US/Canada and EU, which is a positive sign for the game so far. The last couple of entries in the WWE 2K franchise were received rather negatively, to say the least, but the overall feeling in the game community is that 2K22 does a good job of correcting those errors with a relatively fresh offering this time around.
Surprisingly, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a 2019 release, has landed on #8 in the EU charts, which is quite the feat for a 3-year old game.
