
PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown is all set to take place from today and all teams are gearing up for the second week of this global event. Vampire Esports from Thailand had won the first week of the tournament which was titled as the Main event and bagged $500K prize money alongside the championship trophy. Now the event enters its second stage where 12 teams will compete for the lions’ share of the massive prize pool and ultimate championship title.
The 12 teams include five teams from the main tournament, five from regional voting and two invited teams. 7Sea Esports, who won BGMI Showdown, is the only team who will be representing India at this global event’s stage alongside other nations. The After Party Showdown will commence on 18 August and will conclude on 20 August, where each day will feature a total of 6 matches across all 6 maps. The three-day-long event is going to be the first event of PUBG Mobile to have all the six maps in an individual event. Also, there is no group stage and finals format for this event. The team with the highest cumulative points on the third day will be crowned as the champions of the event.
