Poco is all set to bring its entry-level C-series to the global market. The brand will launch the Poco C40 on June 16 as per the announcement. Ahead of the launch, the design renders and key specifications of the upcoming Poco C40 have now surfaced on the web, courtesy of PassionateGeekz. The leaked renders confirm that the design of the upcoming Poco C40 will be exactly the same as that of the Redmi 10C (launched as Redmi 10 in India).

The Poco C40 global variant with model number 220333QPG had earlier made an appearance on the NBTC database suggesting that it is a rebrand of the Redmi 10C. However, the handset is said to come with a different processor compared to its Redmi counterparts. Let us take a closer look at the Poco C40 design renders and specifications.

Poco C40 Design Renders

The leaked design renders reveal that the upcoming entry-level Poco handset will launch in three colour options – Green, Black, and Poco Yellow. Poco had already confirmed the Poco Yellow colour variant for the upcoming device.

Going by the leaked renders, the upcoming C40 will offer a bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch and a sizeable chin. The back panel of the device will house the square-shaped camera module, the fingerprint scanner, and Poco branding inside a rectangular island in a typical Poco fashion.

Poco Global has already confirmed the presence of a 6.71-inch dot drop display and a 6,000mAh battery unit for its upcoming entry-level device. The latest report suggests that the handset will feature 18W fast charging support, but it will come with a 10W charger in the box.

An earlier report had suggested that the Poco C40 will be powered by an entry-level quad-core processor – JLQ510. The latest report by PassionateGeeks reiterates the same and also adds that the Poco handset will ship with Android 11.

As revealed in the renders, the Poco C40 will offer a dual-rear camera setup. It is said to consist of a 50MP sensor and a 2MP AI sensor. It will reportedly offer a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The device is said to launch in a single configuration – 4GB + 64GB and might cost around $177 (approx Rs 13,000).

Apart from the Poco C40, Poco is also expected to launch the Poco C40+ handset under its C-series. We can expect Poco to announce the Plus variant alongside the vanilla C40 in June 16 event.
