POCO is on a launch spree. The company has already launched two POCO C-series smartphones – the POCO C50 and the POCO C55 in just the last three months. It looks like POCO will soon introduce the successor of the POCO C50 – the POCO C51 as a known Xiaomi tipster – Kacper Skrzypek has claimed that the upcoming POCO C51 will be a rebranded Redmi A2+. To recall, the Redmi A2 and the Redmi A2+ were introduced just a couple of days back.
Kacper took it to Twitter to share the information regarding the POCO C51 but he hasn’t revealed if his latest claim is based on MIUI source code findings. POCO C51 (Redmi A2+): Specifications and Features
The Redmi A2+ offers an LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The display panel measures 6.52 inches in size and features a waterdrop notch. Powering the Redmi A2+ is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 processor that comes coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The smartphone packs up to 32GB emmc 5.2 storage and up to 3GB LPDDR4X RAM. It comes pre-loaded with Android 12 (Go Edition).

The Redmi A2+ comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that includes an 8MP primary shooter. It gets accompanied by a QVGA lens and LED flash. The latest A-series smartphone from Redmi sports a 5MP front shooter. The Redmi A2 is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 10W charging support. It makes use of a micro-USB charging port for charging and data transfers.
The Redmi A2+ comes in three colour options – Light Blue, Light Green, and Black. It weighs 192 grams and measures 164.9 × 76.75 × 9.09mm. The smartphone offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the security front. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack and a micro SD card slot. Connectivity options of the handset include Dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, and Galileo.
