POCO F3 GT India Launch Officially Teased Once Again, Here’s When it Might Launch

The POCO F3 GT will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.

POCO India is gearing up to launch the POCO F3 GT smartphone in India. To recall, the handset was teased back in May, and the company had said that the smartphone will launch in Q3 in India. Earlier this week, a report surfaced on the web claiming that the handset will launch in early August in the country. Now, POCO India has shared a new teaser on the social media channel, and said Q3 is here. This means that the POCO F3 GT India launch isn’t far now, and we shouldn’t be surprised if the handset launches this month itself in the country. Take a look at the teaser,

The teaser also shows a glimpse of the device. A pair of gaming triggers can be seen on the right side of the handset confirming that the POCO F3 GT will be a gaming-focused smartphone. The teaser also reveals a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a pattern on the rear panel that looks very similar to the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. To those unaware, based on the model numbers, and certification listing, the POCO F3 GT seems to be a white-labeled Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.

To recall, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition was launched back in April in China, and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. POCO India has already confirmed that the POCO F3 GT will be powered by the Dimensity 1200 processor. With the Dimensity 1200 processor under the hood, the upcoming F3 GT will compete against the likes of Realme X7 Max, and the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2.

Other specifications of the handset include a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole notch, a 5065mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The handset also packs a 64MP triple-rear camera setup including an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a pulsating ambient light around the camera module.
