Xiaomi‘s Redmi launched its first-ever gaming-focused smartphone – Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition just yesterday in China. There have been leaks that the smartphone will launch under POCO branding in India. The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition has model number M2104K10C, and the device with model number M2104K10I was spotted on the IMEI database a couple of weeks back, confirming that the smartphone will eventually launch in the Indian market. Now, a Twitter user, Kacper Skrzypek, has revealed that the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will launch as POCO F3 GT in India.

A couple of weeks back, in response to a user query on Twitter, Anuj Sharma, Country Director, POCO India, had revealed that the company is working on an F-series device for India. He also added that the upcoming POCO F series device will be a higher-price device (compared to POCO F1).
POCO F3 GT (Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition): Specifications and Features
The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition flaunts a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Under-the-hood, the smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, built on a 6nm fabrication process. As it is a gaming smartphone, it comes with vapor cooling tech for better thermal management. The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition runs Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
The smartphone features a triple-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. The primary 64MP shooter gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a pulsating ambient light around the camera module. It can switch between different colors and also doubles up as a notification LED. On the front, the smartphone features a 16MP shooter inside a punch-hole notch.
The device packs a 5065 mAh battery with 67W wired fast-charging support. It also features JBL-tuned dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The gaming phone comes with an IP53 rating to offer splash resistance. The phone is 8.3mm thick and weighs 205 grams.
The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will be the second Redmi K40 series device to launch under POCO branding. POCO has already launched the POCO F3 in global markets which is a rebranded Redmi K40. In other POCO related news, the company might soon launch Redmi Note 10 5G as POCO M3 Pro 5G in India, and other markets.
