OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 5G handset in India and Europe on July 22. The upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 is confirmed to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor. The Nord 2 is not the only Dimensity 1200-powered handset that’s launching in the coming weeks in the country. POCO is also gearing up to launch its Dimensity 1200-powered POCO F3 GT in India. Though the company is yet to announce the launch date for the upcoming F3 GT, rumors suggest that it will debut in early August. Ahead of these launches, POCO, with one of its social media posts, took a jab at OnePlus. Take a look at the post,

The OnePlus Nord 2 is yet to be announced but POCO’s post hints that the F3 GT won’t be an ordinary phone like the OnePlus Nord 2. POCO, with the social media post, even mocked OnePlus for Nord 2’s marketing tagline. To those unaware, for the Nord 2, OnePlus is using the tagline
Pretty Much everything you could ask for. POCO’s latest teaser reads Pretty much everything you could ask for and a lot lot more.
This is not the first time when POCO is trying to troll OnePlus with one of its marketing campaigns. Back in 2018, POCO had run a ‘Do the Math‘ social media campaign for its POCO F1. POCO had, in fact, went out of its way, and distributed calculators to the OnePlus 6T launch attendees. But this time around, rather than targetting a OnePlus flagship, POCO is taking a jab at OnePlus for an upcoming mid-range Nord series handset.
Such rivalry between the competing brands is something that has lately become a very common sight in launch presentations, and social media posts. What do you think of POCO’s social media post? Are you excited about these upcoming handsets? Do let us know in the comments below.
