Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Redmi K50 series in China later this year. The company is expected to launch multiple smartphones under the Redmi K50 series. Alongside the vanilla K50 and K50 Pro, Xiaomi is also rumoured to launch the K50 Gaming Edition. This device is expected to launch in other markets as the Poco F4 GT.

Poco F4 GT has been spotted on the IMEI database ahead of the launch. The listing suggests that the gaming phone will launch soon. According to the IMEI database listing spotted by XiaomiUI, the device has the model number 21121210G. It also clearly mentions the F4 GT moniker.

Other details of the Poco F4 GT are likely to remain the same as the K50 Gaming Edition. As per previous leaks, the phone will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It will come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate as well. Xiaomi might offer a curved screen on the Poco F4 GT. The device will also come with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

Powering the F4 GT will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. There were rumours that the device could come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 or Dimensity 8000 SoC. The processor will be paired with 8GB of RAM at least along with 128GB of internal storage. We can expect it to come with more storage configurations. The phone is likely to pack a 4700mAh battery and also come with 120W fast charging support. 

For thermal management, the device will have a dual VC cooling system. Like the current model, the F4 GT will also sport trigger buttons for an enhanced gaming experience. In terms of the camera, the device will have a triple-camera setup on the back. It will come with a 48MP or a 64MP main camera. The rear camera setup will also feature a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP/ 5MP macro shooter. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera.
