POCO has launched its new F5 series in India and Europe. The new POCO F-series flagship lineup features two premium devices. There is the F5 Pro 5G which sits at the top of the lineup, below which is the baseline F5 5G. The POCO F5 Pro is currently not coming to India. POCO has, meanwhile, launched the vanilla F5 5G in the world’s second-largest smartphone market. The new POCO flagship series phones feature Snapdragon processors. They also sport the same display size, have the same number of camera sensors and run the latest software.

POCO has also revealed that F5 5G customers in India will get an additional year of warranty on the purchase of the phone. Let’s take a look at the POCO F5 series price in India, specifications and other details.

POCO F5 Series Price and Specifications

The POCO F5 5G has been launched in India with two storage configurations. Both variants offer 256GB of storage as standard. The base model packs 8GB of RAM and is priced at Rs 29,999. There is a 12GB RAM variant of the phone as well, which is priced at Rs 33,999. The F5 5G has been launched in three colours — Electric Blue, Snowstorm White and Carbon Black colour options.

As part of the launch offers, customers with an ICICI Bank card can get a discount of Rs 3,000 on the 8GB RAM variant for Rs 26,999, whereas the 12GB RAM option can be bought for Rs 30,999. On top of this, customers who exchange their old POCO smartphone will get an additional Rs 1,000 discount on the purchase of the F5 5G via Flipkart.

The F5 Pro, on the other hand, has been launched with 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage options. The base model with 8GB of RAM is priced at $449 (roughly Rs 36,900), whereas the 12GB RAM + 256GB option is priced at $499 (roughly Rs 41,000). The top-end 12GB + 512GB variant, lastly, is priced at $549 (roughly Rs 45,100). The phone is available in Black and White colour options.

As part of the early-bird offer, the 8GB RAM variant can be bought for $429 (roughly Rs 35,200), whereas the 12GB + 256GB variant will be available for $449 (roughly Rs 36,900). The 12GB + 512GB variant will be available for $499 (roughly Rs 41,000).

In terms of specifications, the POCO F5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC based on a 4nm processor. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. There is a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone features a 64MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.

For selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera. On the front, there a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. It features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The POCO F5 Pro, on the other hand, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. There is support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The device also comes with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection against drops and scratches.

There is a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64MP Omnivision OV64B sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree FoV and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone also has a 16MP front camera.

The F5 Pro packs a bigger 5160mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. It is the first POCO smartphone to get support for wireless charging.

Both devices run Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box.
