POCO F5 Series Quietly Debuts in the UAE: Full Specifications Revealed
POCO has been teasing the key specs and features of the F5 series ahead of the global debut. The F5 Pro, meanwhile, will launch in the UAE and Europe. Xiaomi UAE’s official website revealed the key specs of the phones ahead of the launch.
Starting with the F5 Pro, the phone will launch in the UAE in White and Black. The rear panel design is similar to the Redmi K60 5G, launched late last year in China. In addition, it will launch in three storage options — 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
The F5 5G, on the other hand, will launch in three colours — Carbon Black, Snowstorm White and Blue. It will debut in the UAE with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. Both variants will have 256GB of storage as standard. POCO has already confirmed that the India variant of the F5 will have the same RAM and storage options. The phone will also launch in two colour options — Carbon Black and Snowstorm White.

Moving on to the specs and features, the listing revealed that the F5 Pro features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In addition, it packs a 5160mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging. The F5 Pro is the first POCO smartphone to get wireless charging support.
In addition to this, the device has a liquid-cooling vapour chamber system for heat dissipation. It runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box. The F5 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the front with a WQHD+ resolution. There is support for a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate and a pixel density of 526ppi. The display also has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
On the back, the F5 Pro has a 64MP primary camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is also an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the device has a 16MP front camera.
The F5 5G features a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The device’s front and rear camera setup will be identical to the F5 Pro. In addition, it sports a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display but offers a Full HD+ resolution.
The pricing and availability details of the two phones will be announced at the event on May 9.
