POCO is gearing up for the launch of the F5 series launch. The company has confirmed that it will launch the F5 5G and the F5 Pro 5G on May 9. The F5 series will launch in Europe. The F5 Pro, however, will not make it to India. The company has been teasing the specs and features of the vanilla model, which is confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. The F5 Pro, on the other hand, will be a more powerful flagship. POCO has been dropping a couple of teasers here and there. Meanwhile, a new leak has now revealed the complete specs and features of the POCO F5 Pro.

The F5 Pro is likely a rebadged version of the Redmi K60 5G, which was launched last year in China. The smartphone packs some top-of-the-line specs. Let’s take a look at the POCO F5 Pro specifications, features, and other details known so far.

POCO F5 Pro Might be a Rebadged Redmi K60 with a Smaller Battery

The POCO F5 Pro will feature some top-of-the-line specs in China. It is set to launch in Europe on May 9 but might not launch in India. Ahead of the official launch, the specifications of the upcoming POCO F-series flagship have leaked online.

Tipster Snoopy Tech claims that the F5 Pro will feature a smaller battery than the rebadged variant in China. The K60 5G packs a 5500mAh battery. In comparison, the F5 Pro is said to pack a 5160mAh battery. The phone is also said to offer support for 67W fast charging. The Redmi K60 in China also gets 30W wireless charging. This also means that the POCO F5 Pro 5G will be the first flagship from the company to offer wireless charging support.

The tipster also added that the F5 5G will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution of 1440×3200 pixels. The screen is flat and has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the 16MP front camera. It also offers support for HDR10+ content along with 1400 nits of peak brightness.

There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. It offers LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to launch in global markets with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

For an enhanced multimedia experience, the device will feature dual speakers. It will also get support for dual SIM, NFC, 5G network, etc.

On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. The phone will feature a 64MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). It will also feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The F5 Pro will boot Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of MIUI 14 on top.
