POCO F5 Renders and Specifications Leaked Ahead of May 9 Debut

The POCO F5 seems to be a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo from China.

POCO is all set to unveil the POCO F5 series globally. The POCO F5 series will consist of two handsets – the POCO F5 and the POCO F5 Pro. These smartphones are scheduled to make their debut on May 9 globally. However, only POCO F5 will be launched in India and its launch is happening on May 9 in the country. POCO has already confirmed that the POCO F5 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.

Ahead of the launch, the renders and the specifications of the upcoming POCO F5 have surfaced on the web, courtesy of 91mobiles Hindi and tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. The report also reveals that POCO F5 will be priced higher than the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. Let us take a closer look at the POCO F5 renders and specifications.

POCO F5: Design Renders

The leaked design renders reveal that the POCO F5 will feature a display with a centered punch-hole notch and a chin. The back panel of the device will house a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash on the top left corner. The right edge of the handset will house the volume rockers and the power button. The power button seems to have an integrated fingerprint scanner.

The POCO F5 will come in two colour options – Black and White. These colour variants appear to have different finishes and the finish on the POCO F5 Black variant rear panel appears to be similar to the Redmi K20 Pro Carbon Black variant finish.

POCO F5: Leaked Specifications

The POCO F5 will reportedly offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. It will be available in two configurations – 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB as confirmed by POCO India Head Himanshu Tandon.

The POCO F5, as seen in the renders, will be equipped with a triple-rear camera setup. The teasers have already confirmed that the primary shooter on the device will be a 64MP camera. 91mobiles Hindi further reveals that the high-resolution primary camera of the POCO F5 will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor.

Also, the POCO F5 will reportedly offer a 16MP shooter for video calls and selfies. The upcoming F-series smartphone from POCO is tipped to sport a 5000mAh battery unit. It is said to feature support for 67W fast charging.
