Poco has unveiled the Poco M3. The new budget smartphone was launched globally via an online-only event due to the ongoing pandemic. Poco M3 comes with an all-new design over its predecessors. The smartphone also packs specifications like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and a 6.53-inch display. Poco M3 price starts at USD 149, which roughly translates to Rs 11,000, for the 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage. Poco M3 launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, 6,000 mAh battery launched

Poco M3 has been launched in two storage options. The smartphone will go on sale in select markets starting November 27 during the Black Friday sale. Poco has not confirmed the launch of Poco M3 in India at the time of writing this.

Poco M3 price 

Poco has launched the smartphone in two storage configurations. The 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal memory is priced at $149, which roughly translates to Rs 11,000. There is also a higher storage variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory priced at $169, which roughly translates to Rs 12,500.


It comes in three colours – Poco Yellow, Cool Blue, and Power Black.

The company is offering its latest budget smartphone at a discounted price during the Black Friday sale. Poco M3 with 4GB/ 64GB storage will be available for $129, which roughly translates to Rs 9,500. The 128GB storage option will be available for $149.

Poco M3 specifications

Poco M3’s rear panel comes with an anti-fingerprint texture. The top portion of the rear panel sports a large black-coloured rectangular block, on top of which is another rectangular-shaped camera module.

The rear camera setup includes a 48MP AI primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture.

The smartphone comes with a tall 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution. The LCD comes with a Widevine L1 certification and a waterdrop notch for the front camera. For a better audio experience, the device comes with a dual stereo speaker setup.

Under the hood, the Poco smartphone draws its power from an 11nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1/128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. On the software side of things, the device boots the latest MIUI 12 for POCO based on Android 10 OS out of the box.

The smartphone packs a beefy 6,000 mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

There is no word on the launch of the latest Poco M-series smartphone in India but we can expect it to be available soon in the country.
