Last month, POCO Global launched its most affordable offering – POCO M3. Within a week after its Global launch, the POCO M3 Indian variant appeared on Google Play supported devices list. Though the Indian variant has also received TUV certification, POCO has been completely silent regarding the POCO M3 India launch. A recent post on POCO Community suggested that the POCO M3 India debut might happen on 13th January. Now, POCO India Country Director, Anuj Sharma has said that the information isn’t accurate, and the POCO M3 India launch date isn’t yet finalized/public.

To those unaware, POCO M3 shares a lot in common with the Redmi 9 Power which was recently launched in the country. Let us have a detailed look at POCO M3 India price (expected), features, and specifications.
POCO M3: Price in India (Expected)
We can expect POCO M3 to be priced similarly to the Redmi 9 Power. Compared to the Global variants, POCO India might offer POCO M3 in 6GB RAM variant only. Following is the pricing for the global variants.

POCO M3 Features and Specifications
The POCO M3 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a 1080×2340 resolution resulting in a 395ppi pixel density. It is a 19.5:9 aspect ratio that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. POCO M3 comes with Widevine L1 certification and features a waterdrop notch. The rear panel of the smartphone features an anti-fingerprint texture. The top portion of the rear panel sports a large rectangular block, that houses rear camera setup along with POCO branding.
Under-the-hood, the smartphone sports an 11nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. On the software side, the device boots Android 10 based MIUI 12 for POCO out of the box. Coming to the optics, the device features s a 48MP triple-rear camera setup. The 48MP primary sensor on the smartphone gets accompanied by a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter with an f/2.05 aperture for the selfies.
The POCO M3 packs a beefy 6,000 mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast-charging over a USB Type-C charging port. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
