POCO M3 Pro 5G Listed on BIS India, FCC Certification Confirms It is a Rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G

POCO India launched the POCO M2 Pro in the country back in July. The smartphone is due for a refresh, but it looks like we won’t have to wait much for POCO M2 Pro’s successor. This morning, we spotted the upcoming POCO M3 Pro on BIS as well as FCC certification revealing something interesting about the upcoming device. The upcoming POCO M3 Pro will likely be the first 5G-enabled smartphone from POCO in India. Let us take a detailed look at the information revealed via certifications,

POCO M3 Pro 5G Moniker Confirmed by IMEI Database, India Launch Soon As it Appears on BIS

The certification documents also reveal that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G which was recently announced in global markets. The POCO M3 Pro has appeared on FCC with M2103K19PG model number. To recall, M2103K19G is the model number for the Redmi Note 10 5G smartphone. The certification document also mentions that the only difference between both these devices will be the drawing of the rear panel, and different laser engraving (for branding).

The POCO M3 Pro Indian variant also appeared on BIS with model number M2103K19PI, confirming that POCO India will indeed bring the smartphone to India. BIS certification hints that the smartphone should launch soon in India.

POCO M3 Pro 5G: Specifications and Features

The POCO M3 Pro 5G could feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. It should be a 90Hz refresh rate panel with 500 nits peak brightness. The smartphone might feature an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor which is built on a 7nm fabrication process.

The POCO M3 Pro 5G might offer a triple rear camera setup with 48MP primary sensor. While, the other two sensors could be 2MP depth, and macro sensors. It might be equipped with an 8MP front shooter. The smartphone will boot Android 11 based MIUI 12.

The POCO M3 Pro could feature a 5000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support over a Type-C port.
