POCO M3 Pro 5G Confirmed to Launch in India on June 8 on Flipkart: Expected Price, Specifications

POCO Global launched the POCO M3 Pro 5G smartphone a couple of weeks ago in global markets. The POCO M3 Pro is the first POCO M series smartphone to feature a 90Hz refresh rate, and 5G connectivity. To those unaware, the POCO M3 Pro 5G is a rebadged Redmi Note 10 5G that recently launched in China. Now, POCO India has announced that the POCO M3 Pro will make its debut in India on June 8th. The POCO M3 Pro will be the first POCO device with 5G connectivity in India, and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in the country. POCO M3 Pro: Specifications, and Features

The POCO M3 Pro features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution, and a punch-hole notch. It is a 90Hz refresh rate display that goes as high as 500 nits in terms of brightness.

The handset sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that is built on a 7nm fabrication process. While the graphics duties are handled by an integrated Mali-G57 GPU. The handset retails in up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It boots Android 11 based MIUI 12 for now.

Moving to optics, the smartphone features a 48MP triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The 48MP primary sensor on the handset gets accompanied by a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. It offers a 8MP front shooter for selfies, and video calls.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit with 18W fast charging support. It packs a USB Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner,a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-res audio certification, and an IR blaster. Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

POCO M3 Pro 5G: Expected Price in India

The POCO M3 Pro retails in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants in global markets. These are priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs 16,000) and EUR 199 (roughly Rs 17,800), respectively. We can expect the smartphone to be priced around Rs. 15,000 mark in the country.
