It looks like Poco M3’s successor is coming soon and it’s not Poco M4, but a Poco M4 Pro 5G has been spotted. The device has passed through EEC, 3C, IMEI and TENAA. As per Kacper Skrzypek and Abhishek Yadav, Poco has applied for trademark and certification for the Poco M4 Pro 5G with model number 21091116AG.

As evident from the information out in the open, the Poco M4 Pro 5G will come with a 33W charger. According to Kacper Skrzypek, the phone will be powered by a chipset from MediaTek, so probably it could be one from the Dimensity lineup of chipsets from the company. This could be disappointing for some Poco fans though.

However, while some sources say that the phone will be available in the global market, others claim that the phone will be launched only in India and Europe. So, that remains to be a topic of debate. However, by looking at the track record of Poco, I guess it is safe to assume that the Poco M4 Pro 5G may launch in India. As the race of 5G devices is going on now for a while in India, Poco would presumably like to throw its hat in the ring. However, the Poco M4 Pro 5G will be a mid-range smartphone.

Apart from the charger and processor manufacturer for the device, nothing much has been confirmed yet. However, sources have claimed that the phone may come with an upgraded camera module with a 64-megapixel sensor instead of a 48-megapixel one that is currently being used on most Poco mid-range phones. Apart from that, the phone is expected to ship with a big 5000mAh battery and RAM and ROM configuration of 4GB paired with 64GB storage and 6GB paired with 128GB onboard storage.
The phone is expected to ship with MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11 instead of the latest Android 12. But, no details regarding any possible launch date is known till the moment. However, we are keeping an eye on and will bring news of further developments to our readers and followers.
