Poco M4 Pro Teaser Poster Revealed, Could Launch in India Soon

Poco M4 Pro was launched globally back in November. However, the phone was available only in select markets in Europe. Now, it looks like Poco is getting ready to launch the Poco M4 Pro 5G in the Indian market as well. After staying quiet on social media for a while, Poco’s Twitter handles shared a 5-second video on the platform teasing the launch of the Poco 4 series device.

Apart from the official teaser, 91mobiles has received an image from Poco’s internal training, which has revealed the image of the upcoming Poco M4 Pro 5G and hinting at an imminent launch of the device in India. Poco India’s Twitter handle has given a hint about the phone being powered by Dimensity SoC, no lag, and no drama. This time around, the tagline seems to be “Step Up UR Game”. In the image, the phone can be seen in Blue colour, but we can expect the phone to come in multiple colour options as well.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Specifications

Unless Poco decided to make some India specific changes, here is what we can expect from the Poco M4 Pro 5G based on the global version. The Poco M4 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which is based on a 6nm process. The phone comes in three configurations 一 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB and also supports up to 8GB of Virtual RAM. To the front, there is a 6.6-inch LCD display up front with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also features DCI-P3 colour for a wider colour gamut and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Further, on to the cameras, the Poco M4 Pro houses a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front. On the inside, the Poco M4 Pro is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with supports 33W Pro fast charging. Other features include IP53 rating, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, X-axis linear motor, IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual-speaker setup.

The base variant of the device is priced at around Rs 20,000 globally. The device was recently spotted on NBTC certification Website and we should hear more about the launch from the company soon.
