POCO is gearing up for the launch of new M-series smartphones soon. The company launched the POCO M4 5G globally on August 15. The device was launched in India earlier this year. It looks like the POCO M5 series could debut sooner than expected. The company is expected to launch the M5, M5 5G and M5 Pro 5G in various markets. The vanilla POCO M5 4G has been spotted on the NBTC certification website.
Another smartphone from the Xiaomi group, namely the 12T 5G, has also been spotted on the NBTC certification website. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi 12T 5G, POCO M5 NBTC listings, their specifications and everything else known so far.
POCO M5, Xiaomi 12T 5G NBTC Listing
POCO M5 will be a new budget smartphone offering from the brand. The phone is expected to launch in India later this year. Ahead of the official launch, the M5 4G has been spotted on the NBTC website. The listing on the NBTC website reveals that the device has the model number 22071219CG. Nothing much other than the device’s moniker and the model number was confirmed via the NBTC listing.
The M5 4G was previously spotted on the FCC, IMEI and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) websites. According to these listings, the phone will run MIUI 13 out of the box. We can expect it to be based on Android 12. The device is also confirmed to support WiFi 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. Other details of the M5 4G remain unknown at the moment.
The Xiaomi 12T 5G is expected to launch soon as well. The NBTC listing reveals that the phone has the model number 22071212AG. The NBTC listing only confirms the model number and the moniker of the phone. It was previously reported that the phone will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra processor. It will feature at least 8GB of RAM.
The 12T 5G will sport a triple-camera setup and is likely to feature a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it is likely to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The 12T 5G is also likely to support 67W/ 120W fast charging out of the box.
