POCO has confirmed the launch of the M5 in India. The new POCO smartphone, which will be a budget offering, will launch in India on September 5. Alongside the POCO M5, the company will also launch the M5s. However, the POCO M5s will not launch in India. Instead, the company will make its M5s budget smartphone available in other markets. Ahead of the official launch, details about the POCO M5s have leaked online.

A new PriceBaba report, citing its trusted sources, has revealed the storage and colour options of the M5s. The report revealed that the M5s will launch in three different shades. Let’s take a look at the POCO M5s specifications, features and other details known so far.

POCO M5s Specifications 

POCO M5s will be the second smartphone in the M5 series. The device is confirmed to launch globally on September 5 alongside the M5. Ahead of the official launch, the PriceBaba report claimed that the M5s will launch in three colours. It will be available in White, Grey and Blue colour options. The marketing names of the three colours are not known at the moment. The phone might not be available in POCO’s iconic POCO Yellow colour option. 

The report further revealed that the M5s will launch with three storage options. The base model will offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will also launch with 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB storage options.

The M5s is rumoured to be a rebadged Redmi Note 10S. This means that the phone could sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate support. It will offer a 64MP quad-camera setup on the back with an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors. 

The phone is also likely to pack a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. POCO will launch the phone with an Helio G95 processor under the hood. It is likely to run Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
