POCO M5 has been launched in India as the company’s new budget smartphone under Rs 15,000. The new POCO M5 comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 50MP triple-camera setup. The POCO M5 was also launched in global markets alongside another smartphone, the M5s. POCO has not confirmed any details about the POCO M5s India launch. The phone is a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10S, which was launched last year.

Xiaomi recently launched the Note 10S as the Note 11 SE in India. Therefore, it would be interesting to see if POCO decides to launch the M5s in India. Let’s take a look at the POCO M5s price, specifications and other details.

POCO M5s Price and Specifications

POCO has launched the M5s as its new 4G smartphone in global markets. The phone has been launched with three storage options worldwide. The base model has 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It is priced at EUR 209 (roughly Rs 16,500). The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at EUR 229 (roughly Rs 18,100), whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at EUR 249 (roughly Rs 19,700).

The phone comes in three colours – Blue, Grey and White.

In terms of specs, the POCO M5s comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. There is a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

On the back, there is a quad-camera setup. The device comes with a 64MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. There is also an 8MP ultrawide camera along with two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing. For selfies, the M5s comes with a 13MP front camera.

Under the hood, the M5s packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It comes with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The phone also comes with an IP53 rating for resistance against water splashes. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lastly, the device runs Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
