Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has officially launched its first true wireless earbuds, the POCO Pods in India today. This new offering from POCO is targeted towards budget-oriented customers, and they retail for Rs 1,199. The newly introduced POCO Pods feature a long stem, silicon ear tips, and a 12mm driver. The POCO Pods is priced at Rs 1,199 in India. Similar to other POCO smartphones, the newly introduced POCO Pods will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. These earbuds will go on sale from tomorrow i.e. July 29. The POCO Pods come in the sole Midnight Groove colour option.

The POCO Pods comes equipped with a 12mm driver which offers fine-tuned and accurate bass performance. POCO claims that these earbuds deliver impressive rich, clear, and precise sound quality. The earbuds feature a similar design as that of Apple’s AirPods, and they have a stem and silicon ear tips. They also have environmental noise cancellation (ENC) support, which allows users to enjoy crystal-clear audio and uninterrupted calls without external interference.
Furthermore, these new earbuds also have an IPX4 rating for splash resistance, which also provides durability and reliability during intense workout sessions. These earbuds have support for SBC codec, Bluetooth v5.3 LE, and Google Fast Pair support as well which enables users to connect with their devices seamlessly in just a single tap. The earbuds also have a low latency of up to 60ms as well as touch controls through which users can control the music and calls.
Additionally, by tapping the Pods twice, the user can play/pause the music and answer the call. Also by tapping thrice, users can skip the next track or reject a call. As for the battery life, POCO claims that the POCO Pods can last for 30 hours on a single charge. Additionally, with fast charging of up to 10 minutes, the earbuds can provide an additional 90 minutes of listening time. The earbuds can be charged to 100% in about 1.5 hours.
