Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO X2 smartphone in India on February 4, 2020. The device went on its first sale today (February 11), and, needless to say, the hype about the POCO X2 was realized when we observed that the stocks of the device could not last for more than 5 minutes. Yes! The POCO X2 smartphone went out of stock in less than 5 minutes. Well, for those who could afford to buy the device during the first five minutes, the wait is finally over. For those who were not swift enough, the company has announced the second sale date, which happens to be February 18, 2020.
POCO X2 Stocks Last Only for About 5 Minutes During the First Sale, Here’s the Second Sale Date and Offers
The second sale for the POCO X2 devices is set for February 18, which happens to be a Tuesday (yet again). The company’s official Twitter handle has recently confirmed the second sale date. As a matter of fact, the ICICI Bank offer that was introduced during the first sale will stay intact during the second sale as well. The tweet has confirmed the same.

POCO X2: Price, Specifications, and Features
Starting with the price of the device, the POCO X2 comes in three memory variants, which are as follows –
- POCO X2 (6GB + 64GB): Rs 15,999
- POCO X2 (6GB + 128GB): Rs 16,999
- POCO X2 (8GB + 128GB): Rs 19,999
All three variants are available in three paint jobs – Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red. Interestingly enough, the Atlantis Blue color variant of the POCO X2 was the first one to go out of stock in today’s sale, so in case you have your eyes on this color variant, you might want to be even quicker the next time.
Speaking of the specifications of the POCO X2, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, which is coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. The internal storage can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card. However, you should keep in mind that the POCO X2 features a hybrid SIM card slot, meaning that you can either use one SIM card plus one microSD card, or you can use two SIM cards.
Coming to the cameras of the device, the POCO X2 features a quad rear camera setup – 64MP primary (27mm, f/1.9, PDAF) + 8MP ultrawide (13mm, f/2.2, fixed focus) + 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4) + 2MP macro camera (f/2.4) and a dual punch-hole selfie setup – 20MP primary + 2MP depth-sensor. For software, the POCO X2 runs on Android 10 out of the box with MIUI 11 baked on top of it. As far as the battery is concerned, the POCO X2 is fueled with a 4,500mAh battery, which has support for up to 27W fast charging. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. You can, however, unlock it with its facial unlock mechanism as well.
