POCO Global confirmed its plan of launching a new mid-range phone to challenge OnePlus Nord a while back. Last week, the company had officially confirmed that it is indeed going to launch a new smartphone, to be called POCO X3 NFC, soon. POCO Global confirmed the launch date of POCO X3 NFC yesterday and revealed that the smartphone is launching on September 7th. Now, POCO India General Manager, C Manmohan has confirmed that POCO X3 will indeed be the very first device to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G which was announced just yesterday.
POCO X3 NFC to be the World’s First Mobile with Snapdragon 732G SoC
Yesterday, we spotted POCO X3 on the Geekbench database revealing some key details including the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G, Adreno 618 GPU, and 6GB RAM. Qualcomm at Snapdragon 732G launch had also confirmed that the new SoC will be first seen on a POCO device, and today, POCO has officially confirmed that POCO X3 will indeed pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G under the hood.

POCO X3 India launch teased
Additionally, Manmohan said “Hoping all @IndiaPOCO fans enjoy what’s in the pipeline!“, hinting towards the launch of upcoming POCO X3 in India. Though Manmohan has not shared any launch timeline or dropped a hinting regarding the same, we can expect the company to launch it sometime this month or next month before the festive season sales begin in the country, but the Indian variant might not feature NFC like every other Xiaomi phone released in the country.
POCO X3 Specifications
It’s officially confirmed that the smartphone will feature a higher refresh rate display which as per the leaks might be a 6.67 inch 120Hz refresh rate display with 240Hz sampling rate. The display on it will likely be FHD+ panel but due to the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, we suspect that POCO might use LCD panel on the POCO X3 NFC. Leaked images had also given us a glimpse of the display on POCO X3, revealing a punch-hole display similar to POCO M2 Pro.
Going by the recent leaks and certifications, POCO X3 NFC will pack a 64MP quad rear camera setup and a 20MP front shooter. It will pack a 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging. We are hardly a week away from the POCO X3 NFC official launch and we hope to learn more about POCO X3 NFC via official teasers and certification website.
