
POCO Global finally unveiled the POCO X3 NFC yesterday at an event in Europe. As per the company, the POCO X3 will compete against the OnePlus Nord, OnePlus’ second attempt in mid-range. POCO India General Manager, C Manmohan, right after the European launch, took it to Twitter to tease POCO X3 India launch. In a social media post, he asked POCO fans if they’re interested in the device and want the company to launch it in India. Manmohan also dropped a hint on the POCO X3 pricing in India. As per the details shared by Manmohan in the tweet, the smartphone would cost Rs 20,000 + taxes in India going by the currency conversion.

POCO X3 Specifications
The POCO X3 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 395ppi. The display panel on the latest POCO handset has a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and is covered under Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is an HDR10 certified panel that can achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits. POCO X3 is powered by an all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G that is built on an 8nm process. It comes with an integrated Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Moving on to the optics, the POCO X3 smartphone packs a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f/1.89 aperture which is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP dpeth lens, and a 2MP depth macro with f/2.4 aperture. The handset also offers 4k 30fps video recoding and comes with AI SkyScaping 3.0, AI portrait mode, AI photo clones, 6 long exposure modes, Pro mode, Night mode, Movie frame, and more. The device packs a 20MP AI selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
POCO X3 is equipped with a 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support over Type-C charging port. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button and supports face unlock as well. POCO has decided to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack on the POCO X3, it is the first POCO device to feature a stereo speaker setup. POCO X3 has a metal chassis that is made up of super aluminum alloy but the back panel is made up of polycarbonate. The POCO X3 retails in two color variants – Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue.
We can expect the device to launch in the coming month, before the festive season in India around a price of Rs 20,000. In other news, POCO is all set to launch the POCO M2 in India later today.
