The Poco X3 Pro is going up for sale on April 6th, at 12PM. Ahead of its sale, Poco India has shared an exchange deal specifically for buyers of the company’s first smartphone, the Poco F1. As part of the deal, users who had purchased the Poco F1 will be given a special offer, which combined with bank discount offers on Flipkart, can translate to a total discount of Rs 8,000 in the country. Along with this deal, the Poco X3 Pro can be purchased at an effective price of as low as Rs 10,999, therefore making it one of the most competitively priced smartphones at this price.
How the Poco X3 Pro is a great deal for Poco F1 users
As part of the deal, the Poco X3 Pro is priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999 for the two RAM and storage variants that it comes in. Via Flipkart, buyers can get an additional discount of Rs 1,000 that is applicable for any buyers with eligible bank debit and credit cards. Additionally, Poco India is offering a special discount of Rs 7,000 for those who own the Poco F1 from 2018. Flipkart states that in terms of eligibility criteria, “A Flipkart executive will run a diagnostic test and verify the condition on the spot. When everything checks out, the exchange value is confirmed and the purchase completed.”
The Poco X3 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860, which is a jazzed-up version of the Snapdragon 855 SoC launched in late 2018. The smartphone comes in two RAM and storage variants – starting with a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and going up to 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It houses a 6.67-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with HDR10 certification and 120Hz refresh rate, and bears a very similar design as the standard Poco X3 that was launched earlier.
Other specifications include a 48MP quad rear camera, a 20MP front camera, support for 4K 30fps videos, up to full HD videos at 120fps and more. It houses a side-mounted physical fingerprint sensor, and has a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
All of these specifications add up to a sizeable upgrade to those who still use the Poco F1. The latter was powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is essentially one generation older than the chipset powering the Poco X3 Pro. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and houses a 6.18-inch full HD+ LCD display with standard refresh rate. The Poco F1 also runs on an older version of Android, and features a meagre 12MP dual-camera setup in comparison to the new X3 Pro. It is also powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
All things considered, the Poco F1 exchange deal marks for an excellent discount offer on the X3 Pro, letting users upgrade their older generation Android devices at a far lesser price than what they would have otherwise paid for the new Poco smartphone.
