The latest developments, however, suggest that the Redmi K40 could come to India as the Mi 11X. The tip comes from Twitter user Kacper Skrzypek and tipster Mukul Sharma, aka, Stufflistings. Sharma claims that the POCO X3 Pro could launch with a Snapdragon 860 SoC. The Poco X3’s Pro model will also come with a 120Hz FHD+ display. POCO X3 Pro could come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC
Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi K40 in China. The smartphone was rumoured to launch as the POCO F3 in India. However, new leaks suggest that the Redmi K40 will come as the Mi 11X to India.
Starting with the POCO X3 Pro, Sharma claims that the device will launch with the Snapdragon 860 SoC. It will also feature an FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is unknown if the phone will come with an AMOLED or an IPS LCD. The device is also expected to pack a battery with a capacity of around 5,200 mAh. It is likely to get 33W fast charging support.
Redmi K40 could come as Mi 11X in India
Sharma also claims that the POCO F3 will launch globally as a rebranded version of the Redmi K40. The launch of the device is slated for March 2021. However, the source code screenshots shared by Twitter user Kacper Skrzypek suggests that the Redmi K40 would come to India as the Mi 11X. The smartphone is likely to launch globally as the POCO F3.
Both Xiaomi and POCO have not officially announced any details regarding the global launch of the Redmi K40, Mi 11x POCO F3, or the POCO X3 Pro.
