POCO is gearing up for the launch of the C50 in India. The C50 will be a budget smartphone offering from the brand in India and launch as a successor to the C31. The company is also likely to launch another smartphone, which will be a mid-range offering in the form of the POCO X5 5G. The device is expected to launch in the coming weeks. POCO has not confirmed any details about the same.

The launch of the upcoming POCO X-series smartphone seems imminent as it has been spotted on a couple of certification websites. The POCO X5 has been spotted on the 3C certification website. It has visited the IMDA certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. Let’s take a look at the POCO X5 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.

POCO X5 5G 3C and IMDA

The POCO X5 5G is expected to launch very soon. The device is listed on the 3C certification website ahead of its official debut. The listing reveals that the phone has the model number 22101320C. As per the listing, the POCO X5 5G will support 67W fast charging out of the box. While there was no POCO X4 5G in India, the company did launch the X4 Pro 5G with 67W fast charging support.

The phone has also been spotted on the IMDA website, which does not confirm any details but does suggest that the phone could launch soon.

Previously, the phone was spotted on the FCC certification website. It revealed the design schematic and the Wi-Fi standard details of the X5 5G. The listing suggested that the device will have a rectangular camera module on the back. It will also pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. In addition to this, the FCC listing confirmed that the phone will support multiple 5G bands, including n5, n7, n38, n41, n77 and n78. It will run MIUI 14 out of the box, which could be based on Android 13.

The device has also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Some other details leaked about the X5 5G include a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC and an IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate support. The device’s camera specs are currently under wraps.
