The upcoming POCO X5 Pro with the model number 22101320G has already been spotted on the NBTC certification. The POCO X5 Pro Indian variant with model number 22101320I has also acquired BIS certification. The model number of the POCO X5 Pro, based on the certifications, indicates that it will be a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. To those unaware, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition was unveiled last month in China and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.

The Note 12 Pro Speed Edition sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 900nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ certification. The display panel features a centered punch hole notch and supports Dolby Vision content as well.

Under the hood, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, Adreno 642L GPU, and up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. The device retails in 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage configurations in China. It boots MIUI 14, which is based on Android 12.

The Note 12 Pro Speed Edition comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. It supports 67W fast charging over a Type-C charging port. On the security front, it offers an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Talking about the cameras, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition is packed with a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 108MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. It relies on a 16MP front shooter for the video calls and selfies.
