We have some good news for the fans of Ponniyin Selvan 2. Anyone who missed the theatrical release of “Ponniyin Selvan 2” can now watch the historic drama on their screens as and when they want. The second instalment of Mani Ratnam’s epic drama, “Ponniyin Selvan 2,” is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The movie PS2 premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 28 after officially debuting on April 28 in theatres but was only available for rental. Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam audio of the movie has been released. For an unidentified reason, Hindi audio is not being made available, although all other languages have English subtitles.

Official Trailer and Plot
The story of Arulmozhi Varman is told in the historical drama. He was depicted in the first half as drowning in the ocean, and the second part opens with him in poor health after Oomai Rani saved him from the water. Vallavarayan Vandhiyadhevan and Poonguzhali, characters played by Karthi and Aishwarya Lekshmi, intend to take him to a Buddhist monastery so that he can obtain therapy.
Meanwhile, Aditha Karikalan and Sundara Cholar (Prakash Raj) are to be killed on the same day by Nandini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) and the Pandians. She brings Aditha Karikalan to Kadambur Fort under the guise of striking a bargain with Madhurandhagan (Rahman), who had instigated a rebellion and sought the crown of the Chola dynasty. This is further emphasised throughout the narrative.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, and many others are among the outstanding cast members of PS2.
Reception
The first part of Ponniyin Selvan was greatly received by the fans. Many of the surprises in the first part left the viewer’s wondering what would occur in part two.
The PS2 was hailed when it premiered in theatres for Mani Ratnam’s direction, Rahman’s score, the cast performances, and the grandeur, despite the fact that many people believe it couldn’t compete with the PS1. The first part of the movie earned more than 400 crores, while the second part too earned around 282 crores worldwide. IMDb has given the movie an 8.1 out of 10 rating.
