Possible Nothing Ear (2) TWS Spotted on TDRA Certification Website; Expected to Launch Soon

  1. The Ear (2) TWS could be launched soon.
  2. It has been spotted on the TDRA website.
  3. The wireless earphones have cleared Bluetooth SIG in the past.

Nothing, the Carl Pei-owned company, has launched three products so far. The company launched the Nothing Ear (1) as its first product in India and other markets, followed by the Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Ear (Stick). The Ear (1), which was launched as a pair of truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in India, has now been discontinued as the company tries to push the sales of the newer Ear (Stick). The Ear (1) was launched more than a year ago and is now due for an upgrade. The company has not revealed any details about Nothing Ear (2), which is possibly the name of the next TWS from the brand.

While we wait for some more details about the upcoming Ear (2) launch date, the device might have visited an online certification website ahead of its launch. An alleged listing of Nothing Ear (2) has been spotted on the TDRA website. The listing reveals that the earbuds have the model number B155.

The listing on the TDRA certification website shows a pair of Nothing wireless earphones having the model number B155. Unfortunately, the listing does not confirm anything significant about the earphones.

The alleged Ear (2) with the same model number was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website previously. It only confirmed that the wireless earphones support Bluetooth 5.2.

The design renders of the Ear (2) had leaked in the past. Based on the leaked renders, it is likely that the earbuds will not get any major design changes. They will continue to sport a semi-transparent design. The same would be the case with the charging case. Its base shell has a white sheet that covers the battery and other components, whereas the lid is transparent.

The earbuds will feature silicone ear tips. The leaked details also revealed that the Nothing Logo will be replaced by the “ear (2)” text on the earbuds. Other details about the Ear (2) TWS are unknown. We will share more details as and when available.
