The existence of a new OnePlus smartphone called the OnePlus Ace recently came into the limelight, thanks to a new leak. The upcoming smartphone from OnePlus will be an entirely new lineup and this will be the first new series of phones after OnePlus Nord and the OnePlus R series lineup were introduced a couple of years back.
Details of the upcoming OnePlus Ace series phone were leaked a few days back and the leak suggests the phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and it will come with a super-fast 150W chipset. Now, the possible OnePlus Ace device has been spotted on the Geekbench database revealing more details of the device.
Possible OnePlus Ace Spotted on Geekbench
A new OnePlus device with PGKM10 model number has been spotted on the Geekbench database. This could be the upcoming OnePlus Ace device. As per the listing, the OnePlus phone will come with an octa-core MediaTek chipset with four cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four other cores clocked at 2GHz, this is the newly announced Dimensity 8100 chipset. The SoC will be coupled with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
Further, the listing also confirms the phone’s OS version. The OnePlus Ace will run on Android 12 out of the box. In terms of memory, the device will come with 12GB of RAM, but we can also expect multiple RAM and storage of the device. The device scored 962 in the single-core test and 3819 in the multi-core round on Geekbench. Apart from the aforementioned info, the database does not reveal much information.
OnePlus Ace Specifications
As per the most recent leak, the OnePlus Ace is said to come with a 6.7-inch FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming phone is said to offer a 16MP selfie snapper and sport a triple-rear camera setup. It is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, 8MP sensor and a 2MP sensor 一 likely ultrawide and macro/depth cameras.
In terms of the phone is said to offer a 4,500mAh battery along with 150W fast charging. However, the 3C listing for the same model number revealed 160W fast charging support. Also, all the aforementioned specs were spotted on Weibo back in March and it was rumoured to be the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3. The new Ace series leak has drawn a slight confusion among the crowd and it’ll be interesting to see if OnePlus launches the new series phone in the coming days.
