Ubisoft India has already delayed the launch of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and now once again the developers have announced a piece of bad news. In the latest development, Ubisoft India has made it clear that the game will not appear during the Ubisoft Forward event which is slated for this weekend. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake to Skip Ubisoft Forward
“As you might have already read, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will not be in Ubisoft Forward,” reads the statement. “We are making great progress for our game to release next year, but we are not ready to share any additional information just yet. We will share an update as soon as we are ready,” reads the message shared by the developers.

The game was scheduled to launch at the beginning of this year, but for some unknown reasons, the developers have decided to delay the release of the made-in-India Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. The company is yet to reveal any official release date of the upcoming game title. At the earnings call the company claimed that it’s planning to launch the game before March 31, 2022. According to a report from IGN India, the reason behind the delay of the game was the negative reaction received by the trailer of the game title.
Syed Abbas is the managing director in Ubisoft India is the one who had worked with the studio since the debut of the studio in Pune in 2008. In an interview with The Mako Reactor, he stated that the studio is not facing any issues with the timeline or budget. “For us at Ubisoft quality is of the utmost importance and this is something that we have kept in mind from the start. The project has been in development for the last two and a half years.”
