PUBG Mobile, Freefire Snubbed at The Game Awards 2020, COD Mobile Only Battle Royale Game to be Nominated

The Game Awards will go live on December 10th 2020.

On November 18th the nominations for the 7th edition of The Game Awards were announced. It’s a big event for all the game developing firms and every year the award show seeks huge attention. Due to COVID-19 scenario this time the award show will be organized online, last year the event recorded more than 45.2 million viewers across the globe and this year it’s expected to be more.

The big news is Call of Duty: Mobile has managed to make it to the nominations list. But the sad news is, it’s the only battle royal title among five nominated games. Unfortunately PUBG Mobile and Free Fire were unable to enter the nomination list for The Game Awards 2020.

Last year COD Mobile won The Game Awards by defeating game titles like Grindstone, Sky: Children of Life, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and What the Golf? and this year as well it has made it to the nominations. It’s not like PUBG Mobile never get nominated, back in 2018 the game title lost against Florence and missed the chance of becoming the best mobile game.

The Game Awards is going to be live on December 10th 2020 on MTV India, Disney Plus, Hotstar, Jio TV, MX Player, Voot, and Airtel India. Moreover, the award show will also be live stream in Hindi on YouTube Gaming.

Just in case you don’t know The Game Awards was established in 2014 entrepreneur Geoff Keighley. He also hosts the award show and produces the awards.
