Some reports also suggest that the game will never make a comeback and it will remain banned in the country. In the latest development, a very important leak has surfaced on the web suggesting the return of the game title. As per the report, the company has removed the teaser video from its official YouTube channel on May 2nd, 2021, and now the company has also updated its asset thumbnail. According to the new banner, the PUBG Mobile exclusive Indian version will be called ‘Battleground Mobile India.’ Let’s have a closer look at the new leak.

“In a recent development, the PUBG Mobile India official website now hosts a new creative asset. The creative found suggests the Indian version of PUBG Mobile will likely be named ” battlegrounds mobile India. The new poster creative was found via an embedded link to a video on vimeo which previously hosted the Diwali coming soon creative,” reads Gemwire report.

It seems that after some digging Gemwire found out some vital changes to the background image. They found a source code linked to a new creative asset added to the website. The new creative suggests that the game is tipped to make a comeback in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India.

The report also claimed that some of the teaser videos which were released months ago were again uploaded on their official YouTube channel. But shortly after uploading the videos, the company moved them to the private section, making them unavailable for the public.

It seems that Krafton is making all the efforts to bring the game back in the country and we can expect that the company might re-launch the most popular battle royale game in India once again. The company has also opened its offices in Bangalore and started hiring employees to work for the company.
