PUBG Mobile was banned last year in India owing to data security concerns. Since then, there have been multiple reports of the popular gaming title relaunching in India. The developers further announced that they will develop a special India-specific game soon. The latest development hints at an imminent PUBG Mobile India launch date. We have seen multiple such reports with a similar headline. But this time around, the official YouTube channel has teased the launch. Unfortunately, the video has been made private. However, we can expect the launch very soon. Here’s everything you need to know about the PUBG Mobile India launch.

PUBG Mobile India developers delete launch teaser minutes after making it live

PUBG Mobile India launch is imminent. The developers of the popular game had uploaded the teaser video before deleting it.

Some Twitter users managed to watch the teaser before it was deleted. The six-second teaser did not reveal the launch date. The end of the teaser only reveals that the game will launch soon in India – something that we have been hearing for quite some time.

Another Twitter user spotted multiple teaser videos that teased the already-known elements and features of the game. Like the first teaser, these videos too were deleted.

PUBG’s developers have been teasing the India relaunch since late last year. The company had previously teased the comeback on its official Instagram handle.

Krafton, the developers, have also been hiring employees in India. According to a recent PUBG Corporation LinkedIn post, the company has listed multiple vacancies for its India game. They also announced the plans to make investments to the tune of USD 100 million in India to “cultivate the local video game, e-sports, entertainment, and IT industries”.

The company had also stated that it would maximise data security for its users while adhering to the local regulations. It will include customised in-game content to reflect “local needs”. These are likely to include clothing on new characters, green hit effects instead of red, and a virtual simulation training ground setting, etc.
