Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AnTuTu and Geekbench Scores Revealed
Qualcomm has officially released the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The company has announced the AnTuTu, Geekbench, 3DMark, and AI Mark scores of its latest flagship chipset.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the first chipset from Qualcomm to cross the 2 million mark. The chipset has also scored 30% higher than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Recently, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset was spotted on AnTuTu, which became the first chipset on the AnTuTu platform to score 2 million points. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has managed to beat the Dimensity 9300 with a 5% higher score.
Tipster Digital Chat Station had previously mentioned that the Immortalis-G720 GPU on the Dimensity 9300 is expected to beat the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s gaming performance. The Dimensity 9300 will be unveiled by MediaTek on November 7.
The Geekbench scores released by Qualcomm reveal that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has scored 2329 points in single-core, and 7501 points in multi-core performance. As per these cores, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has managed to match the multi-core performance of Apple’s A17 Pro chipset. However, it still lags behind its Apple counterpart in single-core performance by 25%.
Here are the 3D Mark scores of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The biggest highlight of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can be seen in its AI performance. The processor has scored 2,40,147 points in AI Mark benchmarks, making it the fastest chipset for AI processing.
It is important to note that these benchmark results are released by Qualcomm on a prototype smartphone. The scores should be considered indicative, as the real-life performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will depend on the smartphone and the optimization done by the phone manufacturer.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is an octa-core chipset, fabricated on TSMC’s 4nm architecture. It features one Cortex X4 Prime core, 5 Cortex A720 cores, and two Cortex A520 cores. The chipset has a maximum clock speed of 3.3GHz.
