Roughly translated into "The bridge of Rama", Ram Setu is a 2022 Hindi-language action-adventure movie directed by Abhishek Sharma. The movie was announced way back in November 2020, with principal photography done in Mumbai on 30 March 2021. Thanks to the pandemic, production suffered some delays, but the movie finally wrapped up in January 2022. Ram Setu Storyline
The movie opens with ASI archeologist Dr. Aryan Kulshreshtra, a non-believer, who is doubting the commonly held public opinion that the Ram Setu is a man-made structure, and the historical validity of the Ramayana. A businessman named Indrakant asks Dr Aryan to prove that the Ram Setu is a natural phenomenon. The doctor's scientific research reveals that the structure is man-made, meaning Rama was a historical figure. To get more evidence regarding Rama's existence, Aryan travels to Sri Lanka with the help of environmentalist Dr Sandra and a local Lankan guide. What happens subsequently forms the plot of this movie.
