On April 7, 2023, the Telugu-language psychological action thriller Ravanasura was released in theatres amid much fanfare. if the buzz is to be believed then the film is made at the cost of 50 crores. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has also co-produced the film and is his third outing after the movies Dhamaka (2022) and Waltair Veerayya (2023). Within four months of the film’s announcement on November 5, 2021, the film Ravanasura—this essentially means Ravana—was released. The movie started filming on January 14, 2022. The main photography for it started in January. The OTT platform for the movie was fixed even before its release and has now been revealed in its trailer. The satellite rights to the film have been acquired by ZEE Telugu. The movie is a remake of the Bengali movie Vinci Da. According to the latest information, the biggest OTT platform Amazon Prime Video had acquired the rights to stream the film digitally and is now streaming it on its platform.

Official Trailer and Plot
Last month Abhishek Pictures posted the Ravanasura trailer to YouTube. 193K people have liked it so far, and it has received over 13 million views. As for the story, Ravi Teja is a lawyer named Ravindra alias Ravi, who serves as Kanakamahalakshmi’s junior lawyer (Faria Abdullah). Meanwhile, a police officer (Murali Sharma), a government official (Jaya Prakash), and the MD of a pharmaceutical business (Megha Akash) are all brutally killed. ACP Hanmantu (Jayaram) looks into the infamous killings because he believes Ravi is responsible. In this circumstance, they intend to assassinate the Home Minister (Rao Ramesh). The plot revolves around the mystery related to all these murders.
