Realme has confirmed to launch the Realme 10 series soon. The company, without revealing the launch date, confirmed that the Realme 10 series launch event will be hosted in November. It also revealed that the upcoming number series phones will get upgrades in performance, display and design departments. The company is likely to launch multiple phones in the lineup, which include the Realme 10 4G and 5G, 10 Pro 5G and 10 Pro+ 5G.
The rumour mill claimed that the devices will launch globally on November 5. The India launch event is likely to take place in mid-November. While we wait for the official launch date announcement, a new leak has revealed the Realme 10 4G specifications and features ahead of its launch.
Realme 10 4G Leaked Specifications
The new Realme 10 4G will be among the first set of budget smartphones in the upcoming number series launching in November 2022. The company has not confirmed the launch but looking at the number of leaks, it is safe to assume that the phone could debut alongside the 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ 5G models.
Tipster Paras Guglani claims that the upcoming Realme 4G smartphone in the number series will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is unknown if the display will refresh at 60Hz or 90Hz. There will be a layer of Panda Glass on top of the display for added protection against scratches and accidental drops.
The phone will draw power from a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It will come with a 50MP main camera sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The device will also feature a 16MP front camera. Guglani further revealed that the phone will pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. While the exact RAM and storage options are unknown, the tipster revealed that the phone will feature LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. There will also be virtual RAM support of up to 5GB on top of physical RAM.
Design renders of the upcoming Realme phone had leaked in the past. The phone will sport a flat frame design and come in two colours — Pink and Grey. There will be two large circular cutouts for the dual-camera setup. The text on the back panel confirms the inclusion of a 50MP main camera sensor. Realme will also launch the phone with support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
With all the hardware that is being offered, the Realme 10 4G price in India is said to be set between Rs 17,000 and Rs 19,000.
