Realme has launched its first smartphone in the number series lineup. The company has launched the Realme 10 4G in Indonesia. The device makes its global debut ahead of the more premium Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, which is expected to launch at the company’s China event on November 17. The vanilla 4G model is likely to debut soon in India. Realme is yet to confirm the India launch date of the phone.
The Realme 10 4G is a budget smartphone offering. It features a MediaTek processor under the hood. The phone also sports an AMOLED display. It comes with a flat frame design and fairly thin bezels around the edges. Let’s take a look at the Realme 10 4G price, specifications and other details.
Realme 10 4G Price
The Realme 10 4G has been launched in Indonesia with two storage options. The base model packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at IDR 2,799,000, which is roughly Rs 14,600. The India pricing could be slightly lower.
There is also an 8GB RAM variant of the phone with 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at IDR 3,199,000, which is roughly Rs 16,700. The phone is available in two colours — Clash White and Rush Black.
Realme 10 4G: Specifications
The budget Realme smartphone comes with a polycarbonate back and frame. It weighs about 179 grams and measures 159.9 x 73.3 x 7.95 mm. The device features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port and a microSD card slot. It also supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1.
On the front, there is a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The bezels around the display are fairly thin, except for the thick chin. The device comes with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the front camera. While we are at it, the Realme 10 4G features a 16MP front camera.
On the back, the 4G budget smartphone features a dual-camera setup. There are two large circular cutouts for the 50MP main camera and the 2MP macro sensor. The LED flash module is placed next to the camera sensors.
Realme has packed a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 5000mAh battery in its device. The phone supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The charger is included in the box. For biometrics, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock support. It comes with Android 12 software out of the box and has a layer of Realme UI 3.0 on top.
When launched in India, the Realme 10 4G will compete against the likes of the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G, POCO M5, Moto G52 and other smartphones under Rs 15,000.
