The Realme 10 4G was launched earlier this month in Indonesia. The phone features a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a dual-camera setup on the back. Realme has now launched a 5G version of the phone. The Realme 10 5G is currently available only in China. It has been launched ahead of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, which is expected to debut at the company’s event on November 17.

The 5G variant of Realme’s budget phone has almost the same design as the 4G variant. It comes with a triple-camera system on the back. The phone sports a flat frame design as well. Let’s take a look at the Realme 10 5G specifications, price and other details.

Realme 10 5G: Price

The Realme 10 5G has been launched with two storage configurations. The base model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 14,700). There is also a 256GB storage option, which also comes with 8GB of RAM. This variant is priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 18,000). The Realm 10 5G is available in Gold and Black colour options.

Realme 10 5G: Specifications

In terms of specifications, the 5G phone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The budget 5G processor is found in many budget smartphones priced at around Rs 13,000 in India. Realme has packed a 5000mAh battery in the phone. It supports 33W fast charging out of the box.

The phone comes with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also supports 6GB of Extended RAM. Realme’s new 5G smartphone runs on Android 12 out of the box. It has a layer of Realme UI 3.0 on top of Android.

On the front, there is a 6.6-inch IPS LCD. It has an HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers support for a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It offers 400 nits of peak brightness. There is a tiny waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. The phone has fairly thin bezels around the display, except for the thick chin, which has resulted in a 90.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

The phone comes with a triple-camera setup on the back. It has a 50MP main camera sensor along with a 2MP macro sensor and an AI lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8MP front camera.

There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The phone also features a dual SIM slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, etc. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device also supports AI face unlock.

There is no word on the launch date of the phone in India. However, we can expect Realme to debut its budget 5G smartphone in the coming weeks in India.
