Realme 10 series will launch soon. The new number series from Realme will debut in China on November 17. Realme has also started teasing the key features of the devices ahead of its debut. The company is expected to launch its new number series phones soon in India and Europe. As part of the launch teasers, Realme India’s top chief Madhav Sheth has posted a new image on Twitter. The teaser confirms that the Realme 10 series will feature a curved display.

Sheth did not reveal which smartphone will feature the curved panel. However, the rumour mill previously revealed that the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G would feature a curved AMOLED display. Let’s take a look at more details about the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.

Realme 10 Pro+ 5G Curved Display Teaser

Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the upcoming number series will feature a curved display. The 10 Pro+ 5G is likely to feature a curved panel. Sheth’s teaser does not confirm the model but according to the rumour mill, it is the 10 Pro+ 5G.

The 10 Pro 5G could also feature a curved screen, according to some rumours. Considering the launch is only a few days away, we can expect more teasers to drop soon.

Curved displays are usually found in ultra-premium smartphones. While they certainly look premium and add to the immersive viewing experience, curved screens are also more prone to accidental touches and cracks when dropped.

Realme’s number series has introduced premium features at an affordable price. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, for instance, features a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS support. The Realme 7 Pro was among the very few devices under Rs 20,000 to feature support for 65W fast charging when it was launched.

With the 10 Pro+ 5G, the phone could be the first in its segment to feature a curved display. The 10 Pro+ 5G will sit at the top of the lineup. The curved panel is expected to be 6.7-inch tall and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. Realme is also expected to launch the phone with support for a 90Hz or 120Hz OLED refresh rate.  It will have a Full HD+ resolution as well.

Under the hood, there will be a Dimensity 1080 SoC under the hood. A recent Geekbench listing of the phone revealed that it will come with 12GB of RAM. We can expect the device to be available with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM as well.

The device will pack a 5000mAh battery unit and support 67W fast charging out of the box. On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. The device is likely to feature a 108MP main camera sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone will come with a 16MP front camera sensor. The 10 Pro+ 5G will run Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Realme UI on top.

The India launch date is unknown at the moment. We can expect the company to confirm the same in the coming days. Meanwhile, what are your thoughts on curved displays? Let us know in the comments below.
