The Realme 2 is the successor to the affordable Realme 1 that provided buyers on a strict budget with one of the best devices in that price bracket. There are several reasons why the Realme 2 can be considered a favorite amongst people and here, we will be discussing five reasons why the smartphone is the best possible cheaper alternative to the Motorola Moto G6.
Realme 2: Why the Realme 2 Is the Best Cheaper Alternative?
Design: One of the most attractive features of the Realme 2 is its design. The body of the smartphone is made out of polycarbonate, which is still plastic but a durable form of plastic that does not make the device feels cheap made, by any means. There is a diamond cut pattern that looks really nice as it reflects the light in different ways and directions. The Realme 2 is also available in a variety of colors including Diamond Black, Diamond Red, and Diamond Blue. Unfortunately, the Moto G6 is not available in a unique design, which will not play nice with buyers that want something which will catch the corner of their eyes.
Display: Another reason why the Realme 2 is such a terrific alternative is its large display. It has a 6.2-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. The display gets an 88.8 percent screen-to-body-ratio and it should be noted that there is just a notch and a chin bezel on the Realme 2. The rest of the smartphone bears an edge-to-edge screen that brings out the premium feel from it. Unfortunately, the Moto G6 does not sport such a design, which is a real shame.
Memory: The Realme 2 is also available in impressive memory configurations. The base model gives you 3GB of RAM, while the second model will grant you 4GB of RAM. For a device that is this cheap, getting 4GB of RAM is a very impressive feat and there are not many manufacturers that are able to pull this off.
Battery: One of the strongest attributes of the Realme 2 is its massive battery capacity. That is correct, the affordable smartphone gets a 4230mAh battery, which is the largest in this price range. While it does not get fast-charging or wireless charging support, know that a battery of this size will get you through the day even with heavy usage. Sadly, the Moto G6 only comes with a 3000mAh battery.
Price: For the price of Rs. 8,990, you cannot go wrong with the Realme 2 purchase. In comparison, the Moto G6 costs Rs. 13,425 for the cheapest price in India and even then, you’re not getting the configuration you deserve because the aforementioned price is only for the base model. Even the highest configuration variant of the Realme 2 is still cheaper than the base version of the Moto G6, which just goes to show which smartphone will give you the best possible value.
