Realme had launched its first smartphone as an independent entity, the Realme 2 in August in India, this year. So far, the smartphone was only available in two colour options – Diamond Black and Diamond Red. As promised by Realme at the time of the smartphone’s launch, the Realme 2 Diamond Blue colour variant will be finally up for grabs in the country starting next week, which is second week of October. As can be seen in the image above, the Diamond Blue colour option does accentuate the Realme 2’s attractive diamond cutting design at the rear. Just like other smartphones featuring a glass back that are available in Blue colour, we expect the Diamond Blue colour to be a fan-favorite as well.

Realme 2 Diamond Blue Colour Variant Sale Next Week
The Realme 2 Diamond Blue colour variant is all set to go on sale in India starting from next Thursday, i.e. 11th October. Like the other two colour variants, you will be able to get the Diamond Blue Realme 2 in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configurations.
As most of you might be aware, the Realme 2 is sold in India exclusively via Flipkart. You will be able to order the Realme 2 in Diamond Blue during the e-commerce giant’s Big Billion Days sale at midnight on 11th October. Thanks to its premium design and impressive 4230mAh capacity battery, the Realme 2 is extremely popular among consumers in India. As we have saw in the last few flash sales, the smartphone was sold out within minutes of it going on sale on Flipkart each time. In fact, Realme managed to sell over 370,000 units of the Realme 2 in the first two flash sales. We don’t expect things to be any different on October 11, so you will need to extremely quick if you wish to be among the first to get your hands on the new Diamond Blue Realme 2.
However, if Realme Support in India is to be believed, the company will have enough stocks to meet the requirements of its fans. Of course, it would be much easier for consumers to purchase the Realme 2 if it is made available in open sale. Sadly, the Realme 2 has been on sale in the country for only a month now, so we don’t expect the manufacturer to make it available in open sale anytime soon.

The Realme 2 is available in two storage configurations in India – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. While the 3GB RAM version is priced at Rs.8,990, the 4GB RAM version of the smartphone costs Rs.10,990. The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch FullView HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor. It also comes with 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, an 8MP selfie camera, a large 4230mAh battery, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock support, and Dual 4G VoLTE support. In terms of software, Realme 2 runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
