Key Features and Specs of Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro
At first glance, the Realme 2 and the Realme 2 Pro look somewhat similar, except for the waterdrop notch on the Pro model. The Realme 2 has a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a regular notch and 19:9 aspect ratio, while the Realme 2 Pro gets a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. While both are IPS LCDs, the Pro model gets a high 409 pixels per inch pixel density, and hence is far superior in display quality to the Realme 2, which has a pixel density of 271 ppi. Both handsets get Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Color OS 5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and octa-core Snapdragon chipsets. The Realme 2 Pro has a superior Snapdragon 660 chipset, while the Realme 2 gets a Snapdragon 450 processor. Both phones get dual-SIM 4G support with a dedicated slot for microSD card.
The Realme 2 has two variants: 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage. The Realme 2 Pro offers a solid 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, a 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Both handsets get a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, but the Realme 2 looks much better than its Pro cousin, thanks to its diamond-cut glass finish back panel, while the Realme 2 has a regular plastic back that looks only average. The Realme 2 Pro provides Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy and dual-band WiFi, both missing on the Realme 2, and a microUSB 2.0 is common to both handsets. The battery is larger on the Realme 2, a non-removable 4230mAh unit sans fast charging, while the Realme 2 Pro sports a 3500mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
